Man. I have some acquaintances in Mumbai. I mean, it's sad regardless, but damn. There'll be civil war in India before we know it... the terms of the independence, when India was made a nation, all but guaranteed it had to happen eventually. I wish we still had an emperor like Chhatrapati Shivaji Raje Bhosle to rule. He somehow managed to get the Muslims to live in peace with everyone else. Good luck with that ever happening again.

I'm really torn on this issue... I have a great respect for the Islamic faith, and I know 99% of Muslims aren't violent terrorists, but incidents like this make me want to side with the Hindutva political parties like the BJP who want to make India into a Hindu Rashtra - literally, a hindu nation-state.

So far they were singling out American and Britsh people. They set the big hotel on fire, theres been about 15 known attacked locations, and there are either stolen police vehicles or vehicles painted like police driving aorund chucking grenades, and shooting at people.

Its also all being done by a "new" group thats never been heard of. Apparently all the local security in the area was just lowered just a week ago, and then this happens. Inside job?

It makes no sense to me. I have no idea why they're going after foreigners - radical Islam isn't font of the west, sure, but radical Hinduism is equally not fond of the west, and radical Islam is equally not fond of Hinduism. Most violence in India is Muslims attacking Hindus. this is odd.
