1st. Old phone broke. Good thing my contract was almost up so I was able to get a new one with a great discount by agreeing to stay with T-Mobile another 2 years.
2nd. Lost new phone at courthouse when attempting (and failing) to fight a seatbelt ticket I got the very same day I got this phone. I was wearing my seatbelt when he pulled me over. I took it off to get my information. But ACCORDING TO HIS RECORDS THATS NOT WHAT HAPPENED.
3rd. I'm without a phone for approx. 2 weeks as I bought one on eBay and he took his sweet time sending it out to me.
4th. So far, this whole endeavor has set me back way more than it should have. 100 for the original phone (still waiting on my $50 rebate). 85 for the effing ticket. 165 for the new phone which I just got. If you want to really get into it you could factor in the amount of time/money wasted when I was paying for service while I did not have it.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE.
I hook the new phone up to my laptop via USB connection to perform a master reset because the code the original owner told me would work sure as hell didn't. And then the thing ****ing bricks. It's completely and utterly useless. I've tried 5 times now getting this thing to work and it just won't budge. The screen will flash, but that's about it. I'll try calling Sony about it tomorrow but I have a feeling I'm screwed.
