Look at my last post on Valk's topic about buying a 360. That could start this off.
EDIT: Just to make myself clear. 360 is on equal ground with PS3. But I had a much harder time dealing with Sony support than Microsoft. Other than that, I say just look at the games library as I cannot think of any other argument.Last edited by MRevelle83; 11-20-2008, 07:45 PM.

I say, absolutely listen to the RROD issues. I'm on 360 #3.
But really, consider the games you want.

Well, the new 360s out in the market utilize the 65nm CPU/GPU Jasper chipset which is suppose to drastically reduce generated heat. But there really isn't any data available yet to say this "cured" the RROD issue.Comment

or just about any other genre aside from platformers. especially RPGs. all the PS3 has going for it is Disgaea 3 and Valkyria Chronicles.

Seriously though, if don't have a PS3, and don't have a 360, you should definately get one of the systems. you're missing out on a lot. as for which one, look at exclusives. look how each system handles the multi-platform games you're interested in. and make sure you're okay with knowing that you will have to mail off a 360 for repairs at least once in the system's life. and make sure that you'd be okay with knowing that if you have a PS3, you're going to be deprived of stuff in multi-platform games, because Microsoft enjoys buying exclusive DLC for games (Fallout 3, GTA IV)
