I think a monopoly movie done right could hit all the right chords that The Hudsucker Proxy did for me.

Or y'know, they can just throw Keanu Reeves in it and get me to watch that way, too.

Clue was great, right? Am I right y'all?

I'm looking forward to the Ouija Board movie where everyone denies moving the plot.

I don't know. I think Monopoly is a vague enough concept that a good movie could be made out of it. But then, of course, it's also vague enough that an awful movie could be made out of it.

Though I did laugh out loud at the idea of Monopoly being interpreted through the stylistic lens of Blade Runner.

Ridley Scott is an awful person and should feel awful.

Seriously. He gutted Legend on the 'advice' of two stoners, who he hailed as the voice of the average American audience, and he also treats his actors like rats' asses.

Is that why Rutger is so sad? {:3

Well no one was trying to make Clue into a window into a dystopian future.

Almost an hour of scenes were cut and the original music was replaced by a score made by Tangerine Dream.

So the version I grew up watching is dumb and there's a much cooler version available now?

                            It's not that much better.

I kind of imagine Monopoly as There Will Be Blood, only the main character would be wearing a different, funnier hat.
