Re: Selling Stuff On E-Bay
Take good pictures on a solid background. Use flash, use a "good" camera. By good I pretty much mean just a camera instead of a camera phone or something. The best thing you can do on a auction is to use good english (which you have) and to present your item in good, clear pictures.
Other than that, good luck!Last edited by H2SO4; 11-07-2008, 08:15 PM.

Take many, many pictures. Clear ones from many different angles.
Be clear with your text. Nothing would turn me away from a potenial buy more than unclear shipping/item descriptions.
There is an option to post questions people ask along with your answers. Put them up. It's a little touch to show you care about the auction.

Re: Selling Stuff On E-Bay
LMAO. If Scott wouldn't have a fit, I might have done that to make a sale. I think the item in question might be returned, considering that many more of them are popping up on e-bay, and it doesn't look like there would be much of a chance to be able to get our money's worth on it. The few that are on e-bay at the moment don't have many bidders, and it looks like the price set on them are pretty low. If we had gotten the software for less then 120 bucks, I think we'd have a chance of getting money out of it. *sigh* ah, well.

Yeah, it doesn't help that our economy is in the toilet. Family and friends always come to me with ebay questions when they want to sell stuff, and I tell them to research the going rate for whatever it is they're trying to sell. Usually they're very disappointed by the results.Eat Smello.

Oddly enough, after more research, the Survival Kit is actually going for a decent amount without much competition. It looks like the selling of it may actually go on, but with a reserve of at least the price that the software was paid for. If anything, and it doesn't sell, at least it's still in the return policy.
