I have mixed feelings (surprise surprise). On one hand, I kind of like the "build stuff, destroy stuff" design integrated with traditional platforming but the art design is god awful. If they wanted to make a lego game then they should have asked for the license. I have yet to renew my XBL subscription so no demo for me.
On a semi-related note, anyone notice how games these days are moving towards the whole "open world/build stuff" sandbox game design? The past month alone we got Fallout 3, Fable 2, Far Cry 2, STALKER Clear Sky, and Little Big Planet. Soon every console game will come with a toolkit or feature an extensive building mode.
I'll put some detailed thoughts up once I become 21 again.

You forgot Saint's Row 2. Which lets you create your own hideous character.
Really though, expecting not to get screwed out of this current generation by not having your hardware up to snuff? These games are meant to be played on high resolution TVs. It's like complaining that your Blu-Ray player looks like crap when you play it on a SDTV.
