    LupEND: A Triple Album?

    http://www.sixshot.com/news/13065/

According to a post on Lupe Fiasco's blog, the rapper's upcoming album LupEND will be a three disc set.

The three discs are individually called Everywhere, Nowhere and Down Here.

After releasing his second solo album last year, Lupe announced that LupEND will be his final solo album.

No release date for LupEND was revealed.
Kind of sad to hear he's hanging up the mic. I listened to "The Cool" the other day. "Gotta Eat" and "Go Go Gadget Flow" are my joints.

I don't know anything about this person, besides it being in your sig for a while. I thought it was a female for the longest, as Lupe is generally a Latin female's name.

What I do not like, though, is rappers making double CDs (or in this case, a triple CD), where there's only about 6-10 minutes more length than to warrant putting it on a single CD, and now instead of charging $15 or whatever, they can get away with charging $22 or whatever. That would be all well, fine, and good if there was actually "music" filling the CDs. But most of it is those dumb interludes and skits that, to me, are just there to pad the length. Get rid of all but a few of those, and it's down to a single CD.

It might be different in this case, because it sounds as if he is trying a "concept" thing, but I'd venture to guess each CD is only gonna be 45-50 minutes, with at least 6-10 minutes of each being interludes or whatever.

    But to each, his own.

Lupe doesn't do skits, and Lupe is actually a very talented rapper.

Although I think it's dumb that he's stating that it'll be his last album. Just seems silly. Make the album, and if you don't want to ever make another album don't. Who knows how you'll feel like a few years.

It said it would be his final solo album, not his final album. Maybe he is putting a group together?

          CRS, I'd hope.

Also, Perversion, by your reasoning (which comes from someone who doesn't know Lupe is a good rapper with very positive messages) this could potentially be a 105 - 120 minute album. That isn't good?

Also, I really strongly urge you to go listen to a track or two of his. Especially if that track is Daydreamin'.
