I recently bought a HDtv to keep in my dorm room, needless to say I bought a HD cable and connected my PS3 to the TV. Well, I brought my PS3 home this weekend and now I can't get it to play on my old TV. It still works on the HD, but on the old TV I get no sound and no picture, I hooked it up write, that I am sure of. What is up with this?

Did you change the display options before unplugging it from the other TV to work with the old A/V cables and resolutions? -

No, that would be the problem. Now I am 80 miles away from my HDtv and cannot change the display options.

Hold the power button when you start up until it makes a beep. It'll reset the resolution for you.

Your problem is that it is a PS3, and not a real system like the Wii.

I thought the problem would have been that theres no games to play on your PS3. Lots of PS3 owners seem to have that problem though!Comment
