My cold is gone.

Well, I pretty much just got over being sick. I had the cold since the 17th, and went to the doctors about a week ago. He gave me some antibiotics and that really seemed to help. Last time I was sick I got mucus pretty bad in my lungs and actually had to go to the doctors twice. The first time he didn’t do anything (because the cold just started). Then it went into my lungs after that, and then he finally prescribed some asthma medicine for me (because I have asthma). I’m not saying that this time the cold would’ve went into my lungs again, but at least I had antibiotics to prevent it from happening, just in case. So, I live to see another day.

I'm glad that you're over the cold, though. In high school I'd end up with a sinus infection about once a month, and it sucked to high hell.

Ughhh, if you had a cold your doctor shouldn't have given you antibiotics (anti-bacterial medication). You don't use drugs meant to combat bacterial infections against a virus, thats stupid.

He was actually worried I had a sinus infection, and that is the reason he gave me antibiotics. I actually think it helped with preventing the cold from going into my lungs. I'm not a doctor though, so I have no way of knowing.

Ha, I know what you mean. I get like 5 month long sinus infections because the doctors didn't know what they're doing. Thankfully this last one cleared, but yeah, they are a pain.
