tasteless and tacky. his goal to insert halloween into politics is lame, its not really the kind of message you want to send, especially since halloween is primarily an event attended by childeren.

A little over the line with the noose maybe, but otherwise I like the idea of a Palin effigy.

I think Halloween is not about kids going door to door to get candy too much anymore. Well, it IS, but it's also ANOTHER excuse for people to get drunk.


Many years ago, Halloween was pretty much banned from Southern Illinois University....I mean, as far as I'm aware, they pretty much just shut the entire campus down. SIU is known to be a MAJOR party school, and a good number of years ago, for a few Halloweens in a row, the partying got a bit out of hand (riots, cars overturned and set on fire, etc).


As for the topic at hand, I really do not care one way or the other. I don't keep up with daily news stories or anything, so I do not know much about Palin, besides that I don't like her. They needed to BURN her in effigy, not HANG her.
