I really hate to tell you this, Timmy, but I have to be honest. While the article itself is delightful, the plethora of links transform it from a delight to a nightmare. They make it much harder to read through than it needs to be. It isn't supposed to be a bloated forum thread, now is it?

Fortunately, there's an easy compromise. Instead of linking to pictures and videos humorously linked to each individual piece of news, you can accompany each one with a picture on the article page itself. If you really need to use a video, like in the lobster's case, try limiting it to one or two per article. The text must be able to stand on its own, as the foundation. Visual aids are supposed to augment it, not throw it off the tracks.

Give it another shot, Tim. Barring the gross oversaturation of Youtube, it's great. Make it better!

yes.

EDIT: The purpose of the column is to tell interesting news stories in a manner largely invented here at the pavilion. And by that I mean using images, YTNMDs and youtube clips to portray emotions or reactions.

While you may just quickly read through the column in 2 minutes and go "yeah so?" you're not enjoying it to its potential. Click the links and follow along and it's fun to see the results.

That's the idea.
