Hey, just wanted to know if there was a way to hack into my own game "Patrick's Journey". I played the game for a while and realized there was a glitch that stopped my progression. I would change this glitch if it weren't for the fact that I forgot the password. Is there any way I could get help?

he hasnt signed on for several months though. maybe he subscribed to the topic? I dunno. he's the only one I know of who can recover passwords.
maybe I should have him teach me.

Or if you get in contact with him, have him write a guide.

Our community is pretty small. I think people would know if someone else here or at the other two sites were hacking their games. Besides if the person is hacking someone else's game, changing it to be played a different way, this pretty much just causes the person hacking the game to lose out on what the creator was trying to do.
One the other hand your point is very valid, but I think at least more than one person should have this knowledge so situations like this don't happen.

i just prefer publishing my games as open source. it should be a choice made by each designer, though i do agree having someone like valk with the knowledge of how to do this could be beneficial.Comment

I think if anyone should figure out how, it should be Valkysas. We can trust him with the knowledge, and chances are he will always be here.
They can put it on other sites claiming at as there own, not to mention they can completely destroy the game, and host it somewhere and say you created it and make you look bad.
