Russell Crowe, who was arrested Monday after reportedly throwing a telephone at a New York hotel worker, has stepped up a verbal fight against actors who appear in TV commercials, including George Clooney, Harrison Ford and Robert De Niro. Crowe, currently appearing as the boxer James Braddock in the biopic Cinderella Man, threw the first verbal punch when he accused the actors of breaking the "social contract" they had with their audiences. Clooney then countered by remarking that Crowe was using his celebrity to boost his rock band. Now, in the London Daily Sun, Crowe responded, "An endorsement is about money. My music is from the heart."

Gladiator was good if overblown (did it deserve those awards??) but A Beautiful Mind (JENNIFER CONNELLY ASIDE) was a such a by-the-numbers boring Oscar flick and Cinderella Man looks like the exact same formula.

But I liked Master & Commander (more for Paul Bettany anyway) and I LOVE L.A. Confidential.

Never saw The Insider.

But yeah, he wasn't exactly in The Godfather Part 2, Taxi Driver, Deer Hunter, the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies, Blade Runner, or... uh... Ocean's Eleven.

Russel Crowe is hot, especialy in Gladiator but hes hot in strictly a fantasy way, where he doesnt talk and he bathes and hes a humble person and he doesnt sing.

Crowe thinks he's a terrible actor. Whether he's just absurdly humble or he knows better than the world is up to each individual. I for one think he's a complete ****head.
