Cause I know you guys looooooove these.

When I went to work it smelled fine. I got home and opened my bedroom door and it was like a punch in the face. But with cat crap. My door was locked, but my window was open. I have a screen in the window though, so no cats could have jumped through or anything.

I thought maybe some animal took a dump right outside the window and the stink kinda got sucked into my room, but nope. air outside is fresh as can be. Im totally baffled. I cant find what the **** it is. Its so gross.

Only thing I can think of is maybe I had a container full of juice/food somewhere that went sour and finally ruptured and let out some really ripe fumes. Tomorrow Im going to tear this place apart looking for whatever the hell it is.

The day shall be mine.

Nah. i cleaned up my room a bit, but I didnt find anything. I "febreezed" it and the smell is gone. Its going to drive me nuts about where it came from.

Do you know what the chemical composition of the fabric is and/or do you have any way to figure it out?

Certain types of carpets, if you get them wet enough, will emit a foul odor; carpets with "Scotch Guard" material, after being soaked and in the process of drying, emit an odor that smells like a combination of cat crap and moldy walls.
