Remember the first one? Remember how you could tilt the analog stick forward and run smoothly without skidding around oddly? Or how you could aim with your bow and charge up a shot, and even do a headshot? Or how swinging a big sword around actually felt good?
Remember how you could actually read the text on the screen?
Guess what, you won't be getting any of that in Fable II.
Run down a twisting corridor? Chances are you're going to hit the wall on your first turn. Lock on to enemies? Nah my good chum. We'll do that for you, even if you can't see what you're shooting at! Aiming with a gun? Pffft, this is 3rd person! You don't need to aim! We do that for you.
In fact, the only area of the game that I see improvement in is the magic casting. Everything else about the controls has turned around and taken a step backwards. It's maddeningly frustrating to play through the first dungeon.
If I was forced to play this game, I'd pick mage, so I didn't have to move, because MOVING SUCKS!
I'm severely disappointed.
