Your best bet is to probably download a trial and make your own opinion about it. You can get them everywhere. By the way it's about $60 last I checked.

No, XP is $60 and VX is $100, right?

A quick search leads me to believe that my initial instinct was correct, and that it is $100 for VX. Not absolutely sure, though.

It's a pretty terrible maker that brings back features from rm2k3 that rmxp left out but it severely limits you on tilesets and graphics.

It's to rmxp what rpgm3 is to rpgm2; a simplified maker that puts ease of use over customization.
