It comes down to trust, I think. Like you said, it's about emotional maturity.

Could we trust Simple to handle what he sees in there without either making an outburst or showing it to his parents or something? And just as importantly, could we trust that nothing he sees in there will hurt his personal life or psyche in any way?

Um, I personally don't think anything in there is too bad... I'm leaning slightly towards saying "let him in," but I'd feel awful if it turned out to be a mistake.

I suppose you meant "wait for a bit while I ask the other admins," but that sure came across (to me at least) as a direct invitation for any PG members to voice their opinion. Especially given that I'd be every bit as torn as you are about this. So anyhow, that's where we were coming from.
