Long ago, in the days of the NES, the cartridges were giant blocks, which were only 2 megabits(or is it megabytes.......megabots? whatever!). The SNES cartridges were smaller and had 16 megabits. the gameboy and gameboy advance (or GBA) had even smaller cartridges and had more space. Now we have the massive Nintendo DS cartridges......."massive" referring to the incredible 1024 megabyte size. the cartridge is about half the size of the GBA. Now, why not just put the amazing itiy-bitty hardrive space on a GBA cartridge instead of making an even smaller one? Let me tell you, those DS cartridges are so small you can literally stick one in your mouth, chew on it, and swallow it. They might as well stick the oh-so-famous "choking hazard: small parts" label on the boxes(boxi?). Making a move to GBA size cartridges would be a great move. It could mean more powerful nintendo handheld games and perhaps an option to have a DS capable of backwards compatability woth the current DS cartridges along ith old GBA and GameBoy color games. But for now, I'll try not to eat my games.

Re: I think I swallowed a cartridge!
The DS cartridges are a lot smaller than 'half the size of GBA cartridges' and that's a weird comparison to make. Since it's not really a cartridge anymore, but a flash card. Or something.
I dunno. I honestly have no idea what I'm talking about."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson

I randomly pick dumpster topics and antagonize them until the topic starter figures it out and stops posting to my replies. It keeps the place fresh and keeps people guessing, wondering which topics I might decide to place my ire."Mindless killing doesn't do a lot for me anymore." - Sampson
