I want to buy a tablet

And I don't want to spend a lot of money.

Depends on the brand, Wacom sells its smallest tablets, I think 4'by5' for around $50. There's a few other brands out there like Adesso which usually sell for cheaper.

      Let me re-phrase this...

I don't want to spend a lot of money, but I don't want it to be a total piece of ****, either. So what's a fairly decent one/brand that is good for someone who isn't looking for nuances only an advanced user would pick up on or need.

I think Wacom replaced their Graphire line with its Bamboo products, I think they're pretty much the same thing. I have a Graphire4 6by8 and it works fantastic. I would recommend either getting one of the new Bamboo tablets or you might be able to find one of the discontinued Graphire for cheap.

The Bamboo and an older Graphire. I've seen the Bamboo line at a few stores like Best Buy.

I can't really vouch for the quality of other brands since this is the only brand I've used.

You could get like a Bamboo for 100 bucks. It's like an entry level goof around tablet for not very serious stuff. Probably the best cheaper tablet you're gonna find.

You could always do one of those weird things with the Wiimote's sensor and odd angling.

I think that would be the cheapest way to go.

I'm thinking on getting the Bamboo. I chickened out buying it at the last minute, but so far it looks like the best one. For the price.

I wonder if the screen will be too small, though.. could always upgrade for an extra $120...

In that case, do not buy anything from Adesso.

                Wacom has better products.

Fork out $2000 for a Cintiq.

...I wish I could do that.

If it's good enough for Gloomburg, it's good enough for me.

For only a little more, I'll be getter a much better tablet overall. Double the levels of sensitivity, a bigger screen, and barrel tilt.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I'll hopefully have this by the end of the month.

Or you can use that 100$ to buy quality bristol board, pencils, pens, nibs, brushes, inks, acrylics, paints, erasers, lettering guides, rulers, and portable fine grit sand paper.

It'll make you a real man. Put hair on your chest.

Ive got a 4x5 Wacom Graphire. Works great.

Free is nice, very nice. But Free and legal is better, was this legal?
