Alright, I'm officially hyped for this. Screens, videos, and interviews with the producer and other people involved have me convinced they put care and effort into making the game.

Finished watching all 6 of the animated comics, which I thought were pretty neat.

Yeah, I looked at the game and immidately thought it was a 3rd person Doom 3.

The UI and such looks awsome but ehhhh. Spooky dark hallways with monsters jumping out of closets?

It's been getting some good things said about it so far. No actual full reviews, but this is a must buy until Gears 2.

I had pretty much ignored it until today, but I looked up a bunch of screens and trailers while I was at work and now I'm looking forward to buying it tomorrow or whenever it hits the shelves.

Got a 9.0 on Gamespot.


Even though I'm not a huge fan of survival horror, I'm now regretting not preordering this. I was gonna take a wait-and-see approach, but it looks now as if it's about the only game that comes close to approximating the film Alien, including the ones bearing the license itself.

I was reading the review, and all I could think was, "Hmmm....that reminds me of Alien."

Derelict spacecraft? Distress call? Necromorphs? Transit through ventilation shafts?

I'm seriously gonna buy this tomorrow, and I am gonna vow to myself to actually play it. At night, with surround sound on, and the lights off. I'm thinking the PS3 version, but I'm not sure yet.

I can't decide if I want to buy this for the full $60 or just try to rent it... It's only supposed to be about 12 hours long.
