Error after uploading avatar

^^I get this after uploading an avatar from my computer, it doesn't affect anything as everything worked just fine.(It is shown at the top of the automatic redirect screen.)

Upload failed due to failure writing temporary file.

^^I get this when copy/pasting a image file URL and trying to us that as an avatar.

In both instances the image had to be resized by vBulletin

yeah, it's not properly configured for image resizing, and yells at you when you try to do it.

we also don't let you link to outside image URLs for avatars at all.

Is that against the rules or does the software not allow you to do that?

Because, Ive been doing that a lot in the past.

Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website

I use that option often, it was there so I assumed it was ok.^

well, it's not SUPPOSED to work.
