Okay, I'll just come out and say it. I'm trying to find the perfect game for my fellow-gamer mom for christmas.

She says she wants a Wii game where you can control a lightsaber through the Wii-remote. (Like in first person.) She's a huge Star Wars fan. (We all joke around that if she ends up in a nursing home, she'd be the one running around with a lightsaber and "stabbing" people.)

My connection to game releases have been not so well lately. I figured you guys would have a better idea of what kinda game is like that. (Before you say anything, yes, we tried No More Heroes, she didn't like it.)

So, help me repay the woman who gave me so much joy Christmas morning.

There isn't a game like that. The closest things get is Force Unleashed.

Buy her some VC games and find the original THX "enhanced" Star Wars movies on VHS.

I would suggest my favorite recent Star Wars game, Republic Commando, but that's more shooty-shooty than slashy-slashy.

Wii's been out for HOW long, and we don't have the perfect lightsaber game yet?

Actually, an certain kind of DS game would do as well. Something...I dunno how to put it...Cute and adventurous? She liked Magical Starsign
and most of the Mana games, lets put it that way. Basically, games where she doesn't have to jump diagonally.
