My game has frozen quit a few times. Look at Obright. He has to save after every little thing he does because his ps2 locks up. Just because it froze once doesn't mean you should give up. Just make sure you save a lot.

Mine has done that before. I had to let my PS2 cool off a little and take out the disk, make sure that the inside of my PS2 was clean, and make sure the disk was clean. I popped it back in and it went right back to work.

Don't give up on it right away, try it a few more times and make sure that the disk/PS2 are both clean and in running condition before jumping to conclusions. I've learned that the hard way.

Saving often is a good idea though.

And if all else fails, buy a new disk for RPGM 3. If you like the game a lot, then there's no point in gettings something else... :3

Pretty much like they said. Keep giving it a try, and let us know how it works.

I wouldn't sweat it. Just because it froze up on you once doesn't mean it will happen all the time. Just make sure to save often incase it decides to try and ruin your day.

I'm not sure if this'll help, but I know it helped me with DREs on RPGM1/RPGM2 and the Action Replay disc (probably not, as RPGM3 is a DVD and the others are CDs), but possibly orient your PS2 vertically instead of horizontally.

Then again, your recent activity in your forum, here in the RPGM forums, and certain posts in other threads indicate to me that now that you know positions are opening up at the Pav, you are trying to appear productive, as you are still holding out the slim chance that you might become an admin. However, as your request has pretty much been shot down, and you've already made posts about continuing work on games you'll never finish, maybe this thread is a way for you to avoid making games in order to save face.

Oh, wait. That kind of logic might be beyond simple man level.

In any case, simple, it's good to see you are trying to be productive. But if you do not get the position, and then whine about it, and then leave immediately afterwards, your transparency will become that much more apparent. Just sayin'. Not trying to hate on you or anything, but if you stay here and actively work on RPGM and becoming a better poster, it'll benefit you in the long run.

                Good luck with your PS2.

My RPG Maker 3 and Fighter Maker 2 froze up once, but it was fine after that.

Standing the system vertically will prevent the system from overheating as quickly(which is probably why the system is locking up...its a safety feature built into the processor that shuts the system down if it detects high internal temperatures.)

Or maybe your ps2 is about to bite the dust...

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!
