Questions about rpgmaker 3

I just want to know more about the characters. What kind of weapons do they have and is it possible for the character to use that weapon(not in the battle system).

Can a character be equiped with a lance? Can a character just use hand-to-hand? Can you program the controls?

These will help me out alot? :lol :D :)

I have read the revews. I have a few questions about characters, PC's and NPC's.

-It said that you can have 100 characters. Is that limited to people you can have in your party?
-How many party members can you have and now many NPC's can you have?

-It said that you can only have 4 party members at a time. Is there any way to have the game completely FFX style, where you can switch between party members in battle at any time?
-Is there a way you can make the option to switch party members at any time outside of battle (for example: using the O button as a party switch button) and make a party selection screen.
-Is there a way to make the main character switchable in battle mode, but once the battle is over, have him/her return to the main party (ALWAYS have the main character in the party outside of battles, even if he was switched out during the battle - have him automatically return once the battle is over).
