There are a lot of prophecies and beliefs centered around 2012. In fact there are so many that if theres ever going to be a doomsday this may very well be it. Now before you get your torches and build me a cross let me tell you why I'm here saying this today. Its because true or not it works to our advantage to worry. So let this worry give you some incentive to living life to the fullest and accomplish something in life.
It is said when we teach others we are really teaching ourselves, and this is certainly the case here. Nevertheless this thread is about posting two things: myths about 2012 and your plans for these coming years. So with that in mind continue and keep in mind I wish you the best.

2) The Mayan Calender:
The Mayan calender ends on december 21, 2012. The calender is surprisingly more accurate then anything we've ever made and could predict solar and lunar eclipse thousands of years in advance. The I-ching also goes up to 2012. Another belief was that 2012 is not the end, but the end of the forth earth and beginning of the fifth which is said to another 1000 years.

On a episode of "Decoding the Past" about 2012 Web Bot was examined and found to have accurately predicted many things. It was certainly interesting to see how a computer program became regarded as a prophet by examining the language people are using over the internet and their concerns.
This was quite an interesting episode. It covered all sorts of prophecies many of which have come true. The Sybil and the Oracle of Delphi received their prophecies by inhaling gas in subterranean caverns and going into a trance.

4) My plans for these coming years
Here it has been said "go outside." I think this may be some good advice. These years will see the completion of my projects starting with the games I released here and ending with my written projects. These years will see an end to my indecision and I will bet everything on the paths I choose. These years will reveal my place in the world and whether I will share it with someone special. These years will summon the painful experiences of the past and put them into perspective once and for all. These years will judge me and I will judge the world, approaching wisdom with love and love with wisdom. The background has become as dark as possible which means the light that shines will be brightest, but it remains to be seen if the star will go supernova or blackhole.
