Well, for all of you who are thinking of doing some online gaming next Monday, find something else to do. MicroSoft is doing some maintenance on the network. This is not the fall update that was demonstrated earlier this year. It is a precursor to it. They will take the systems down at 12:01 PST on 9/29. it will be down for up to 24 hours.

No....my family honked dogs' noses one too many times, and it came back and bit them in the ass. well, only if you consider tearing the side of my brother's face off as "biting him in the ass."


Really, though, I just HATE the transparent, "Gee, look how popular the Wii is with the Miis and stuff, and look how forward-thinking Home is looking to be, so let's rip off Miis and incorporate them into our console to nab the casual gamers now that our lowest price console is $50 cheaper than the Wii, and let's do a low-fi version of Home by incorporating the wanna be Miis into an 8 person group chat thing and tout it as being "innovative," thing they've got going with the fall update.


Yeah, they announced this WAY before they announced the price drop, but my point still stands.
