    Spyro's 10th Anniversary thread

In 1998, the 1st Spyro game came out for the Sony PS1. As the years went by, more games came out. The little purple dragon even got a mish-mash story with Crash Bandicoot at 1 point. I've been a fan of the guy ever since I first played his games when I was a kid. Now, I'm paying tribute to him by celebrating his 10th Anniversary.I've started a poll for which Spyro game(s) is(are) your favorite(s). Give some reasons for praising this(these) game(s) over the other ones.

    HAPPY ANNIVERSARY SPYRO!!!!!

I think the "Legend of" games are the best because they focus more on the combat and less on the platforming nonsense.

I think you might be the only one to take this so seriously.

Only played the first one a bit.

      Really isn't a great series.

Putting Spyro and Crash together kinda screws up the story...and the space time continuum.

There is no option in your poll for, "I'd rather watch paint dry than play a Spyro game."

That being said, if I HAD to vote, I'd vote for the, "One of the GBA ones," but only because that's the only Spyro game I've ever played (and only because I found it used for like $6 or something). I played it for about 45 minutes total. I gave up after I realized that mixing the GBA's d-pad and really imprecise control with a 3D platformer where you died if you fell off the edge was about the most ill-conceived idea I'd ever seen put into a GBA.

Both one and two were pretty good.

                Past that though...

In celebration here's 50 "secrets" in Spyro Two. NOT TO BE MISSED.
