    Let's talk about movies.

The rules are simple. Talk about movies. I'll start us off.

(I didn't steal this idea from IRC in another forum and slightly alter it to my own use, I swear)

The last movie I watched that I've never seen before was Boondock Saints. This movie was not accepted well by critics but has quickly become a cult classic. And I can see why. While not being anything extraordinary in the plot department, it does do a good job of exploring vigilantism in the real world environment, and in the end is a fun and enjoyable movie caked in blood, although it is over-the-top cheesy at times (Willem Dafoe's character towards the end nearly pushes the envelope). It is obviously a Quentin Tarantino-inspired film, but that's not bad. My favorite part was the "firefight scene". Overall, 7/10.

    Battle Royale!

Battle Royale is a Japanese film (originally a book) about a futuristic Japan where 9th grade students are forced to kill each other on an island. Only 1 student is allowed to survive and if more then 1 student is alive after 3 days, all the remaining students die. (they have a collar on that will detonate after 3 days)

This movie is one of the most disturbing movies I have ever seen. The fact that a movie about 9th graders killing each other was even made just blows my mind. Relationships within this change so quick that you will be grabbing you hair and clinching at why people are doing what they're doing. That being said, it is awesome! By far one of the most interesting pieces of cinema that has ever come from Japan, or the world for that matter. If you like the movie they also turned it into a Manga, as well as the book.

    Rating 9/10

TBS is coming shortly... I finally got off my lazy self and contacted Datel, so new Max Drive software is coming thus allowing me to release my TBS.

I once watch mimic 2. I didn't feel good about myself after that.

Bridge to Tarabithia reduced me to near tears. Big lump in throat.

They made a movie about how the guy that made Boondock Saints went from being Hollywood's new darling to being a washed-up has-been. I think it's called Overnight.

Just watched Walking Tall starring The Rock. Wasn't the greatest thing on earth, but I found it rather enjoyable. Magus we need to kidnap him and force him to make movies that he was born to make.

Yeah, it's supposed to be great. The guy's fall from grace is supposed to be due to his being a stupid moron apparently.

Like no one could tell that just by watching Boondock Saints.

                  ...

                  I haven't watched Boondock Saints. {:3

Did you see the Kingdom of Heaven theatrical cut or director's cut?

I think it was released with the theatrical cut and then rereleased with the director's... so that won't narrow it down. :V

Was it LONG? Was there an overture and intermission? Did Eva Green have a kid?
