Funny Scripting errors you have made

I have made several errors in scripting that made for some funny moments when I've test played them.

    1. Trying to light a candle. . . Instead I light the main character's butt on fire.

    2. Wanting a child to skip off a bench . . . the bench skipped off and the child just stood in mid-air.

    3. Wanting the horse to pull the cart . . . horse took off and the cart took off
    5 seconds later.

    6. Wanting a character to walk to the end of a pier. . . The character walked on the pier and then preceded to walk on water.

    7. Wanting to have 6 soldiers to march into town. . . Had only 4 soldiers walk into town. Till this day I have no idea where the other 2 went.

    8. Making a cure item. . . Used it in battle and wiped out the entire party.

So what weird things have you had happen.

Raithwall funny moments in games gave me this idea about this post.

At one point I was having too much fun with the speed function on RMXP and I sort of had all of the npcs in town moving so fast that they almost looked like they were teleporting. So much for talking to the shop keeper.

Though, it did give me a fun idea for a stat upgrading game that involved a cat catching a really, really fast mouse.

    >.> I'm sure other people have much funnier stories though.

      1) one time I had a merchant list going on in battle because I had an event battle after the merchant list and didn't use wait for script to end. It was funny, you would select to buy something and you characters would attack, your cursor was in 2 places at once. Or you couldn't attack without buying something.

      2) I made a portable vehicle with no model to increase running speed in towns and made events of the companions to follow you. Something weird happened to where I wound up standing on their head, another one was on top of mine, and the last was circling the one at the bottom. A big 3 person totem pole with you in the middle walking on the head of the event that circles the one at the bottom, and then the other one circles you. So its actually a viable form of travel.

I'll edit this If I can remember any more.

It has nothing to do with RPG maker, but its sorta funny and its relevant to the topic.

I was writing the collision code for a BreakOut game (sorta like Arkanoid) and when I was done I tested it. The ball would somehow, for some reason, swing around the blocks. I think it had something to do with my conditionals, but it was fun to watch.

In Tree of Life, when you marry people, they show up in your house. If you marry Brogan, he says something like 'There's something I've really been wanting to tell you'. When you go to your house, you find that Brogan is a GIRL. LOL!!

          I fixed that one.

Number 8 is funny; I guess it is the irony of it. I don't have anything to add, unfortunitly.

I actually have a zombie status that prevents healing from abilities, but healing from items actually burns them in this state.
