So my name is Serph, I own RPG Maker 1, RPG Maker 2 & RPG Maker 3. I managed to complete a game using RPG Maker 2, but I was unsatisfied with it so I deleted it. I'm currently working on a game using RPG Maker 1, I'm hoping to upload a demo of it here soon. So anyway just saying hi to the RPG community!:)

Welcome aboard Serph, I hope you enjoy it here, and do you like apples by any chance?

Thanks, there was a time where I was really into RPG Maker 2, I wouldn't play anything else. Now I can't seem to make time for it anymore. :)

Yeah, RPG Maker 2 is a pretty complicated and time-consuming game. I'm still a beginner that has a lot to figure out about it.

Welcome. I myself am fairly new, but let me know if you need anything. I'll try to help the best I can. I'm decent at writing/storyline type things. Still working on scripting, seeing as how I'm new to the particular game that I'm on right now.
Great to have another literate person here, hope you enjoy it and find what you were looking for.

So my question is: why delete a game even if you didn't like it? There was bound to be a lot about it that you liked that you'll find hard to recreate or remember if you ever go back to it.

Especially an RM2 game. Wasn't there a building, map, or dungeon that you liked at all?

Seraph has already said he's not reregistering here until Valk OK's it.
Which I dont see what Seraph did besides lose his temper a little that was any worse then what Muse/Trebsay did, and he was allowed back...but this is best saved for another topic.

rpg maker 1 is still great, so good luck with the game making. sometimes the best course of action is to just shut it down and start fresh. i usually squirrel my dead projects away just in case, you just never know when you may want to pick it up again.
welcome to the pavi!

Au contraire, Seraph wasn't the one who masqueraded as Apples, and wasn't the one I was implicating this time.

Well there was a few things I liked about it, but I didn't like the stroryline and I made the dungeons way too linear, but that was about 3 years ago so I don't think about it much now.

Yeah RPG Maker 1 is great! I usually use RPG Maker 1 more than the others. I love RPG Maker 2, but its hard and consumes a LOT of time. I don't use RPG Maker 3 much because of its limitations.

A general rule around here: Don't double post and never triple post. Just edit your first post if you have more to say. It's okay to double post if your previous comment is a week old, or if you are talk about your game.

That is when it is time to use the almighty quote feature. It also makes your post more effective and easier to read. :)

You still need to put it one post. Just edit them all together and use the quote system, and the multi-quote system in your case.
Also welcome to the Pavilion.
Edit: Navane beat me to it.
