    help w/ my halloween costume

I'm going as bionic commando this year. as you may know, my hair is naturally spikey, so i'm dyeing it red and getting the 80's shades, and using a white plastic pipe from home depot to make the big ol gun. Does anyone know where i'd get a green jumpsuit? Also i gotta figure out what to make the bionic arm out of, or how i'm gonna handle that...it should be orange. thanks for any help.

Oh, and if i could find a way to be carrying Hitler's disembodied head, that's a bonus.

I'd get the green suit at a place that sells surgical scrubs.

Look around thrift stores. Salvation Army, Goodwill, St. Vincent de Paul, etc. A lot of these kinds of places get a hold of old uniforms. I've seen fatigues, dickie coveralls, scrubs, even pilot jumpsuits.

Not sure about the bionic arm.

        Indeed a good choice, Kire.

The Bionic Arms should be a NES Power Glove.

              I'm going to work.

Since my ride is a thriller of sorts, I might bring in a Death costume with scythe, and escort people into the ride with my bony hand gestures.

That is, if the boneheads at my job'll let me.
              ...and that's why.

I showed up for work at The OG my first year on Halloween as a SpaceMan and I was told to go home.

Apparently, big corporations don't like people going to work in Halloween costumes. Psh.

I have class on Halloween and one of my Professors said he would give us bonus points if we dress up.

I need to figure out where to get or how to make the Right Hand of Doom.

Incidentally, if anyone knows how they'd make a beam katana from No More Heroes :3

                      Lightsaber toy?

For the Right Hand of Doom I'd say your best bet is to get a styrafoam block and whittle it down. You couldn't move the fingers though, unless you were to make individual digits and glue them onto a glove.

HMMMMMM that could work. Maybe pack some celluclay on there for texture.

My roommate wants to be Travis Touchdown. She wants to get a fluorescent tube and attach it to a curtain rod, but she still doesn't know how possible it would be to attach some sort of battery pack to the hilt.

What about some kind of fleurecent paint instead of an actual bulb? That seems safer. And there's probably some kind of foam that's better for shaping the fist other than styrafoam but that's probably the cheapest thing. Plus you'ld probably be able to put a good amount of detail into it.

Maybe perusing cockeyed.com will yield some good material choices.
