TNA Impact is way the **** better then Smackdown has been in years. It's far from perfect but at least it's fun. The reviews I've seen criticize the game on not enough window dressing...the CAW isn't as intensive, not enough gimmick matches, etc...but the gameplay itself is solid, and the animations are crisp, fast, and fun to watch, unlike Smackdown.
Smackdown will come out in about a month and it'll get 8.0's despite having the same problem where I can't pull off a freaking power move because it's just reversals back and forth...I'm more likely to pull off a FINISHER, and frankly, I don't care about half of those WWE guys anymore, they're boring as hell or worth like 1 playthrough, plus it's unbalanced due to their retarded superstar rating system where no one can beat HHH or something retarded like that.
If you like wrestling games, give it a shot and don't listen to the reviews...
