I don’t know if the this is feasible or not, but I have an idea for a Pavilion RPG. It goes something like this. The RPG would involve the forum as a whole. The game would incorporate items you can buy with points obtained with posts. The more you post, the more points you obtain, and you are able use these points to buy items. In addition, you can earn more points by saying certain words, and you couldn’t just spam “special words” either, as they change each time you post. Members have a set amount of HP to start out with, and you can increase your HP by either buying items that increase your HP, or gaining experience points with kill counts. Kill counts are gained by reducing a members HP to zero. When your HP reaches zero, one of your items (if you have any) and some of your points are lost, and are then transferred to the victor. If you are killed, you are simply restarted with full HP, but with fewer points to buy items with, and you are invulnerable for a certain amount of time so as other people couldn’t attack you constantly. Items would range from healing potions, to weapons and armor that would slowly break with each use. At the end of each month kill counts are tallied up and the person with the most kill counts is rewarded in some fashion, maybe something like a medal below the avatar or something. At the start of the month, experience and levels gained are reseted so people don’t become overpowered and impossible to defeat. This would also allow newly registered member to have a chance. Past feats wouldn’t go unrecognized either, as a board would record kill counts and whatever else that would be recorded.
I know that the game isn’t perfect, and probably isn’t feasible, but maybe you could look it over and decide. If this were even considered, it would take a community effort to improve the game, because as it is right now it is definitely not perfect.
