So I've been putting off getting my teeth looked at since I didn't have insurance, but it started hurting enough to go to the dentist and now I need a crown cos one of my teeth is all bugged out and YAY 900-1200 more bucks that's only like 1/3rd of my savings WOO

You might see if there's any medical or dental assistance programs in your area. At the very least they might be able to reduce the overall costs.

I also ate for free twice today.

Then I came home to my rent free, utility cost free room.

God, I dread the day I get out.



But yeah, back to topic - I'm glad I don't have to hassle with health insurance or lack of. I'm probably going to be ill prepared for those issues when I seperate.

Given the amount of money our government has squandered in Medicare/Medicaid, and the lofty profit margins the pharmaceutical companies and other components of the medical establishment make, healthcare should be free...

But too few people like making too much money off of it, and in this country, even universal healthcare won't change it; we need a lot more changes to the healthcare industry itself for that to be viable.

I just had a tooth pulled. And one of the teeth that I think I had filled a few months back is starting to feel sensitive. Can you smell Root Canal?? I hope to god not, and that the tooth that is bothering me is another different one. But life's never that easy.

I'm going to be using part of my student loan just so I can get my teeth fixed. I've got a few cavities I want to get taken care of as well.

Blood is still a problem. Also saliva helps fight tooth decay and bacteria. Make lots of that.

Best way to stay out of the doctors office is to keep healthy yourself. Or black mail your doctor.
