    GameSpot disappoints me.

So I'm browsing through the local GameStop's used racks earlier today, when I noticed a box that had this on the spine: "RPG Mak". The rest was concealed by the price tag. Excited, I pulled it out...and saw it was a used copy of RPGM 3 for $20.

    Bah. I want RPGM 2!

No, I didn't get it. I'd prefer to avoid RPGM 3 with all of its alleged restrictions.

We share something in common. I shall form a league.

A league of ill-informed, biased game creators who cannot look past the supposed limitations and see a fairly substantial creative tool. Legion, you are not.

As for the title of the thread, I tend to like and concur with Gamespot's reviews, and frequent my local Gamestop(s) on a regular basis, without really being let down or disappointed.

Therefore, neither Gamespot nor Gamestop disappoints me.

gamestop's price for RPG Maker 3 Used is more than agetec's price for it new ($19)

        that's stupid.

        Go here:
        http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/Prod...oduct_id=22386

Enter in your zip code, and it will tell you which stores near you have it. then go get it.

          Re: GameSpot disappoints me.

Theres a GameSpot next to my house. I have gone there like 10 times looking for something, whether it be a game or utility, and every single time they never had what I needed.

When FF12 came out: nope sorry, all sold out, go to Frys Electronics.

Getting my max drive: what the heck is a max drive? never heard of that.

When getting an online game a friend was playing: we don't carry pc games.

another memory card: we're all sold out.

Need to buy a USB keyboard adaptor: We don't have it.

Well what do you have?: Sports games, shelves and shelves of them.

So I guess I have to say retail disappoints me. I mean its pretty sad when you can buy it online for cheaper.

Whatever. I'm more interested in RPGM 2 since it's supposed to be more flexible. In any case, I think RPG Tsukuru 4 has them both beat...

Besides, without a Max Drive, RPGM 3 is nearly useless to me anyway. I spent the $20 on a new copy of FFXII instead.

Anyway, it's not a big deal to me. Yeah, there's a lot of crappy games they have clogging the shelves and bins, but there's enough other stuff to interest me.

I spent like $80 on a max drive and RPGM3 and never used either

I know this is silly to point out but gamespot and Gamestop are completly different.

How can you when half thier reviews are lazy and the other half have been bought?

I'm not going to argue about how good RM3 is (you guys already know that I consider most of the limitations completely absurd but still like the software).

What I will say is, I have often seen RM2 in GameStops, though less so recently. I think I remember it being around $30, but it's not all that hard to find. If you really want it, I'd recommend just grabbing it online, but if you can't do that for some reason, check as many GameStops as you can, and one will be likely to have it.

How Badly Do You Want It? (VX Ace) is now available for download! - no outside software necessary.

RIIIIIGHT. I think I already pointed this out in my post, but did it in a pseudo-clever, roundabout way that you apparently did not pick up on. Then again, your name is Boo. What did I expect?

who knows how many of them they are lol
