Re: So does anyone hear like rap?
I like rap, but your inquiry needs to be more specific, young one.
I like some mainstream rap, but I haven't been listening in several weeks because my radio keeps playing the same damn songs in different orders over and over again.
I also appreciate the underground, but I'm not all too familiar with a majority of the cats down there, but that's not to say I don't listen.
I'm a rapper myself. Not everyone is going to like me, but I do try to stray away from the grabage they put out on the MTV, BET, and radio.

I like some rap. I like the clever intellegent stuff...
I also like some of the goofier stuff, like M.C. Hammer.

Meh, I'm the opposite of Smurtle, I prefer rap and hiphop when it's hardcore. Like Dre and the Wu. I like everything pretty much besides most club hiphop, and garbage like Flobots and Gym Class Heroes can lick mah balls. Poeple classify those as rap and they need to stop, it's pretty rude.Last edited by Biggie; 09-03-2008, 01:35 AM.

Re: So does anyone hear like rap?
Hardcore rap is just dope as ****. When Dre puts it down, or the Wu, or y'know, like NWA, Naughty By Nature... whatever, that **** is just dope as hell. This jazz is ringing in my ears, so this is hard to type. I love it when they put it down hard as **** like that. Problem with hardcore rap now is the beats are too floaty and ****. But that early 90's stuff was where it was at.
I'm also a big fan of more underground acts, usually like jazz rap acts and stuff. The music, flow and the rhymes are just generally better there.
holy **** I'm high

Re: So does anyone hear like rap?
I don't listen to much music in general. What I do listen to is usually years behind the current trends but who cares. There isn't any genre of music I've never liked so I go on a song-by-song basis and if I like several songs by an artist/group I figure I like that artist/group. Some rappers I like: Ludacris, Jay-Z, Busta Rhymes, OutKast. I don't even know if they're well regarded by "people who like rap" but I like them.I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty!
