Pocky and Rocky (SNES)

I got the game a couple days ago, via ebay, and I, for one, cannot believe it took me this long to hear about such a title. The gameplay, as well as the graphics (sprites), reminds me of a crisper Legend of Mystical Ninja, and ambient music in the background sounds quite nice. I haven't mastered all of the controls, yet, and I haven't gotten past level 2 because I'm outnumbered by annoying little pests. Maybe if I had a second player to assist me, the game wouldn't be that difficult. Still, I'm having a lot of fun playing, and I'm currently working on getting the GBA title as well.

It's frickin' great, probably the best co-op game on the SNES. After Contra 3. And Turtles in Time. And maybe Secret of Mana.

The second one might be even better, but I don't quite remember.

Might I recommend Heavenly Guardian for the Wii and PS2? The graphics are cute and the game is challenging and it has the same feel as Pocky & Rocky. If I bothered to do some research I wouldn't be surprised if they were made by the same team/people.

Chip & Dale is a pretty awesome 2 player experience too, what with the throwing and carrying of the other player and hitting each other with crates.

That is all kinds of a "play it with your brother and yell at each other" game.
