    Traitor

Saw this movie this morning. It's not too bad IMO.

It's a nice little story about a guy caught between two sides in the war on terror and tries to stay true to his ideals before it's all too late.

    Don Cheadle is pretty good.

My only complaint with this movie is that even though it's a good movie,
didn't really keep me at the edge of my seat in suspense.

I still recommend this though if you don't wanna see:
College, Disaster Movie, or Babylon A.D..

None of those alternatives suit me in the slightest. I guess I'll check Traitor, then.

Speaking of Disaster Movie: Why? Just... why, really?

      At least it's aptly-titled.

(Steal that line for your next grump, Mora/Magus )

I quite like Don Cheadle, ever since seeing him in Boogie Nights back in....what was it? 1997?

In fact, I bought Talk to Me as a PVT from Blockbuster recently, which is literally the only "black" movie I have in my entire collection (which numbers probably about 250+ if you include TV show box sets). I used to own Eve's Bayou at one point, which, no surprise, is by the same director, Kasi Lemmons.

I feel like I should be on that "Things White People Like" list, because it seems white people like films by Kasi Lemmons, as it gives them a "safe" and "understandable" portrayal of black culture. I'm not saying this to be racist by any means. I really just do not understand or find funny a lot of humor in most films geared toward and starring African Americans.

That, and I really cannot stand Martin Lawrence, Chris Tucker, or the Wayanses....except for Marlon's performance in Requiem for a Dream....go figure.
