    Bangai-O Spirits

Anyone here playing it? It's a spin-off of the Dreamcast/N64 shooter which probably holds the record for most missiles on screen at any one time. Spirits is more of a "puzzle" shooter using smaller levels yet having a much more reflex based gameplay. There's also a built in editor. Haven't played it long but it sure is fun and the best 30$ I spent on this thing.

A video showing off a standard stage

EDIT: There was only 1 copy in my entire county. What's up with that?

I really, really want to play it,

I'll have to wait until I get a new DS, though.

Sharing created stages with a sound file is brilliant.

Kirin has it. I've yet to get my hands on it, but it looks challengingly fun.

One review I saw knocked it for having a steep learning curve. But I think you'd only be buying the game if you've played through the original, sooo...
      ...and that's why.

        learning curve, smurving curve.

as long as it's good., who cares?

AND nothing compares to the learning curve of a rogue-like, so if i can handle one of those i think i'll be a-ok.

The first game had a limited stateside and european release that came out right around when SEGA announced the death of the dreamcast. This is one of those games where failing is part of the fun and learning how to play the game (which isn't that difficult as you're either deflecting shots or destroying objects) is just as fun as mastering it.

I've played the original to death, mind you.
