They're gone, the Smokin Cheddar BBQ Doritos I love so much have not been seen in the grocery stores in a few months, and it saddens me. I'm going to call the Doritos company tomorrow and inquire why they took the flavor off the market. Honestly, the Fusion chips they got out (Taco/Ranch and another combo flavor) aren't all that great. I mean, this it the flavor that trounced the dreaded Wild White Nacho, and they owe me an explanation for its disappearance. If it's the lack of sales, I really won't believe it, because every time I saw the flavor when it was available, they'd sell out. Wish me luck, guys.

I called them today. They said the flavor was discontinues because of bad sales. This is a sad day indeed. However, I did tell them I would like the see the flavor again in my area, so there is hope...albeit little, that this lovely treasure will rise again.
