    Event help.

I already read the FAQ on this question but it didn't work. I have a pedestal and I want to place something on it. How would I do that? Because whenever I try the entire pedestal dissapears, can I just make the item disapear?

Choose the pedestal with the item on it that you want. Simply have the event "display off" and it should just leave the pedestal empty. I'm pretty sure you don't even have to use refresh display for this.

Of course, my advice is usually wrong or worded improperly despite the fact that I know the program very well. So you're probably better off letting someone else help you.

Could be wrong, but I think it's "Decorative Display Off" you're supposed to use for this, rather than "Display Off."

Ok. Can I just do decoration or does it have to be an event?

Yes, Decorative Display is what I meant. See what I mean?

I believe it has to be an event, but I'm not sure as I've only once used a pedestal, table, etc. which has something on it.

Should be very easy to try for yourself, though. Put the Decoartion (as opposed to Event) pedestal with the item in a room, put an event in the same room and give it the "Decorative Display Off" event line. See if the pedestal appears on the list of valid targets.
