    Vidya etymology

What are some words, names and phrases you've invented whilst playing the vidya. Be them game specific or whatnot.

    General:

When playing on-line or whatnot I like to say "there's a bunch of dudes, dudeing it up" Which basically means there are enemies present.

I call the sniper rifle the Wesley Snipes

When I get a head shot I often say "got milk?" to drive the point home.

    Specific:

    Gears of war

The boom shot I call The boom botters.

This is all I can think of right now.

    Now you share, Pavilion.
Find a dog, honk it's nose. If you are bothered by this sentence. I guess you're just not cool enough for the noses.

I can't follow MMORPGs simply because everyone comes up with these acronyms and weird names for everything. I can't even decipher a simple conversation between WoW players. It's like written in another language or something.

Why write Vidya? They both have 5 letters so wouldnt it be easier(and more appropriate and mature) to just type the correct spelling?

Here I come Pav, like the Kool-Aid man barging into a funeral! Oh yeah!

You're just upset I got more goblies in a shorter amount of time

                  @JPS

Because it's funnier, leave the funny to the pros.

If you guys feel woozy I can understand. You both just got big timed.

What the hell is vidya? I'm actually confused.

                    Is it video games?

If so, why write the "shorter" version? It just makes you look like an idiot.

I agree the vidya in the title just got me angry because it makes you sound stupid.

Yeah, I could care less too. A head shot in Call of Duty 4 is sometimes referred to as a PATANG! seeing as that's the sweet satisfying noise you hear when you get one. Frag is of course sometimes a kill in certain games. But uh, that's about all.
                          Grow!

Vidya is the southern phonetic pronunciation and is written (normally as Vidya Gaems or Vidiya Gayms) for comedic effect.

it's just a slang term guys jeez
