I tried to play it, but it left me confused and even a little bit creeped out.
For one thing, why was it that, during a cut-scene, the characters seemed to... to pulsate?
Yeah, that always got me. Maybe the characters are scared or nervous or whatever but it is pretty creepy.
I think the only reason I'm liking this game is because it's old school hard, and it's got the nostalgia factor going for it. I remember playing it like 10 years ago and getting to one of the last dungeons and quitting out of sheer frustration. It was one of those dungeons with holes in the floor with no way of telling that they were even there. Monsters with one hit-insta-death spells and your party not having the ability to revive your characters. Etc...
I want to beat it now, just to prove to myself that I can. It's one of the only games I ever stopped playing just because it was too difficult.
The best part of this all: I didn't even have to buy it. I'm borrowing it from a friend whose old roommate left it behind when he moved.
And I know it's your birthday and all Mora, but quit spamming that emote. I've seen you use it at least four times today.
I didn't like this game that much. I got to a certain point not very far in it where I had absolutely no idea where to go and I tried everything to move on. My characters ended up getting way higher leveled then they were supposed to be because of my constant running around everywhere exhausting every possible solution until I just gave up and played something else.
C'mon Gou, I'm think if someone has the paitence for the SaGa games they'd at least have the patience, or at least the tolerance for Beyond the Beyond.
