I got the Resistance 2 private beta yesterday. The weapon loadout is very similar to CoD4, You choose a weapon at the start of the match. You get that weapon and a crappy magnum, you can only hold 2 weapons at a time. The rocket launcher (can still be used in single player mode) and flamethrower (not sure if it can still be used in single player mode) have been replaced by a chain gun and a Chimeran automatic sniper. Now you have Berserk mode that comes from killing your enemies. If your Chimeran your berserk is Chimera Rage, if your Human you can unlock radar or faster running. No vehicles. A few new modes such as one mode similar to capture the flag except, you can't use weapons or run while holding the orb. In game max player limit has been increased from 40 to 60. 8 player online co-op, there are now classes for co-op including Medic, Heavy Weapons and Special Ops. Some of the weapons alternate fire have been revamped such as the Fareye, Bullseye, Rossmore, Carbine and Auger. I am really pysched to play the real game it looks really awesome!
