1 error = 1 e-mail telling me all about the error.

thus going through the errors to see what all whent wrong is next to impossible when I get like, twenty from each user in about 3 minutes. (yes, it tells me what user encountered the error)

although, it can be pretty funny seeing how frustrated people get at the site when it's broke.

I especially like the people who will go in via search engines trying to find at least one page that works.

Usually when a website's down, I'll refresh 2 or 3 times, cause I have no idea where the problem is. Don't know if it's my connection or on the server end. After that, and trying my home page to see if that comes up alright, I'll just give up.

if it says database error, it means the database server is broken/down. refreshing or trying to access other pages of the site will do nothing. if the database server is broken/down, nothing works.

buuuut.... the database can fix itself if traffic slows down for a bit. it's awesome about that.

I operate like orius when hit with a down site, so I'm fairly certain I haven't done too much damage. But now I know, so you'll get even less emails

I usually recheck every few minutes...you know....because I cant live without the Pavilion!
