    ok...people can submit their own pictures to Google Maps(see panoramo), its not like this is a big deal.

    My house is on it, my parents house is on it, and my old house I used to live at is on it...its pretty cool to go around and look at everything.

        It's just aimed to be a "oh neat look at that" kind of thing I guess. As to the whole privacy issue that JPS alluded to, I really don't think it's that big of a deal either. It's not like they plant these things in people's back yards or inside their houses. As long as you have window shades and you close them at appropriate times Google Maps can't see anything more than a regular passerbyer.

        Plus, if your house is on street view, it's usually because your in a moderately busy neighborhood, in which case you'd have to "worry" about privacy anyway.
