What are the limitations of RPGM2 (mostly memory wise). i don't know what I want to do with it but I heard that this would be the best game to use for greater flexability.

Re: Limitations Of RPGM2
With proper use of memory, you can create a game that will take 20 hours to get through, however, it will likely take you three years to produce such a game. RPG Maker 2's greatest flaw is that it is overly complex. All that complexity is what gives you the freedom to make a lot of changes to the system. It will take at least a month of working on the scripting system to figure out how to do anything but once it "clicks" you'll be able to do a lot of interesting things.
RPGM2 is not for the faint of heart, but if you've got what it takes you'll be able to make the game of your dreams.

Re: Limitations Of RPGM2
Like DW said you are pretty much limited to your imagination and technical ability as well as your determination level.
The amount of things that can be made with RPGM2 is astounding. Honestly I have been thinking about it lately but if you where good enough you could make games like GTA, Metal Gear Solid, FFXII (this would be hard but I believe that it is feasible), heck if you were good you could make a combat system like Legend of Dragoon or even Shadow Hearts. Granted it would be extremely difficult to do any of these but RPGM2 is powerful to pull it off.
Don't get in over your head though, I and probably DW as well would highly recommend you start small and work your way up. And as always when you make your game, make it yours, make it unique, and mostly take the time to perfect it because when you look at an unpolished game it really shows.
Best of luck
