(and all variations) being censored by the forum's filter. They are no worse than dick or asshole, which are already allowed.

Sorry to spell them out, someone can edit them out once this is addressed.

I'm not really in charge of the word filter.

years ago, agetec gave us a list of words that had to be filtered for them to be able to directly associate with us. that list is what we have to use.

So we can talk about all sorts of dirty, nasty stuff around here, but only certain words need to be censored in order to do that.

nah, dirty nasty stuff gets deleted and often an infraction for content violations.

the pavilion is a family friendly forum.

dirty nasty stuff goes in the playground, so it's not like I'm keeping people from talking about certain things or saying certain words (you are allowed to bypass the filter in the playground), there's just a certain place for stuff like that.

Well, some of that subject matter appears in multiple topics in the free forum.

For example, the sleepwalking topic has people discussing others (or themselves) peeing and pooping (yea for kindergarten words) in random places, including a popcorn bowl.

If we are able to discuss things like this without any problems, then it's silly to censor the words most normal people would use to describe them.

Plus, the aforementioned m-word is taught in most US public schools as part of sex-ed, and most kids have heard much worse by the time they leave elementary school.

Just saying.

look, this just isnt up for debate. sorry if that upsets you.

why is the "e" still there?

everything but the "e" is censored because of all the ways the word can end. rather than add every variation to the filter, I just added the beginning of the word to catch all of them.
