Im new at Rpg maker 3 and im getting it in a couple of days any Advice?

Hey, what's up Darth Forth? Here's some advice: Don't be one of those "one-time posters". As for advice for RPG Maker 3, check out what we have going on in the RPG Maker 3 guide project. If youve played RM1 and especially RM2, expect mild disappointment, its very pretty compared to the other 2 but its fairly limited in its scripts and such...but there are ways to get around a lot of those problems, and some very good games have been made with RM3.
I myself prefer RM3 over the other 2 and I find much more support is here for RM3 then there is for 1 or 2.

To warn you straight away, if you're here strictly for RPG Maker talk, try to stay out of the General Discussion Forums(Free Forum and Video Games in particular). People do get annoyed when RPG Maker-only stuff is in here when there's a whole forum for all of that.
However, if you're here to also shoot the breeze with us here in the General Discussion Forums, have fun, be sure to read the rules, and try not to let what people say bother you so much. We here are a sardonic bunch at times.Comment

How else? Friends who actually did have an RPG Maker, Tintenfisch being the most recent example(actually, I'm not even 100% sure that Dreamknight had an RPG Maker). Fushigi Renamon's another one.Originally posted by JPS View Post
