Hakuna Matata

No, this isn't about The Lion King. This is about the still enigmatic PS3 photo safari game formerly known as Afrika, now known as Hakuna Matata.

Two things come to mind. First, thanks Sony for getting that song stuck in my head again. It took years to get it out. Second, why?

Pokemon Snap is my favorite thing to come of the Pokemon franchise.

actually the name change is only for the Asian market, so there may not be a name change in the NA market.

But it hasn't been announced as being released outside of Asia. All we know for sure is it's not coming to EU. There's never been any official word on a NA release. The fact that it says "Asian Japanese version" is the closest there's been to confirmation of other regions.

I was never that impressed with The Lion King. Saw it once. Meh. I WAS curious about/interested in Afrika previously, but hopefully, it will not have that lame title if it comes to North America. And doesn't Disney have some sort of copyright on that phrase? Before I saw the movie, I thought those words were an invented Disney construct.





I still kinda think they are.

No "Hakuna Matata" is an acutal Swahili phrase. It just wasn't well known in America or most of the world until Lion King. Also, Lion King was a great movie and don't you ever say different.
